Your Role

Qualifications

To excel in the role of Subtitle Specialist at Netflix, you should possess a combination of skills, experience, and qualifications that includes:

A Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Film Studies, or a related field.
Proven experience in subtitle creation, editing, or localization, preferably within the entertainment industry.
Exceptional command of English and at least one additional language.
Strong understanding of translation and cultural nuances.
Familiarity with subtitling software (such as Aegisub, Subtitle Workshop, or similar tools).
