Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in managing and supporting various ongoing projects that focus on community development, education, and health initiatives. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our project goals are met effectively and efficiently, driving impact and improving lives around the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee project activities from inception to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including grant writers, program managers, and volunteers, to optimize project delivery.
- Monitor project outcomes and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and external partners, clearly communicating project progress and challenges.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions as needed to enhance team and community engagement.
- Stay informed on best practices in project management and the NGO sector to implement innovative solutions to challenges faced during project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a non-profit or NGO setting.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar tools).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation methodologies used in the NGO sector.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
