Your Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, increasing the reliability of services, and automating processes. You will work closely with software engineers to ensure our systems maintain high availability, performance, and capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, scalable systems.
• Ensure system reliability and performance through monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Automate manual processes and improve efficiency through scripting and tool development.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide infrastructure support and optimize service delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents quickly to minimize downtime.
• Perform system capacity analysis and forecasting.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for production systems.

What We’re Looking For

We seek candidates who have a passion for reliability, performance, and automation. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud Platform) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, database technologies, and application architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a DevOps or automation role.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and incident management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
