Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards.
Efficiently plan delivery routes to maximize fuel efficiency and minimize delivery time.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of delivery times and customer signatures.
Provide excellent customer service during each delivery, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
Clean and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Adhere to all road safety regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving license (Category B) required.
Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Stoke and surrounding areas is an advantage.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy packages safely.
Time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
