Job Overview

The Clerk Typist 2 is responsible for performing clerical duties that involve typing, filing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions. Your role is pivotal in supporting our teams and enhancing our office productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and efficient typing tasks, including reports, letters, and other documents.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both electronic and physical records.
  • Assist in data entry and ensure the integrity of information in databases.
  • Answer and route incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Support office staff with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Prepare materials for meetings and take minutes as required.
  • Utilize office equipment and technology, including computers, printers, and copiers, to complete tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in clerical work is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role.
  • Excellent typing skills with a minimum speed of 50 words per minute.
  • Strong knowledge of office software, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
