As a Caption Specialist, you will create accurate, readable captions for a variety of media formats, including videos, podcasts, and live broadcasts. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our content is accessible to all audiences, empowering them to enjoy and understand everything we offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio and video content accurately and timely.
• Ensure that captions are synced properly with the audio track.
• Make use of captioning software and tools to enhance your workflow.
• Review and revise your work to ensure it meets quality standards.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, have excellent language skills, and possess a strong understanding of the importance of accessibility. The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong typing skills (minimum of 60 words per minute).
• Be proficient in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Have a good grasp of the cultural sensitivities and nuances of language.
• Experience with transcription or captioning is preferred but not required.
• Have reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace.
• Be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
