Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist in maintaining discipline and fostering positive behavior among students.
• Work with small groups and individual students to provide targeted support.
• Assess and record students’ progress to inform teaching strategies.
• Prepare teaching materials and resources, including educational activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working in a primary school setting (minimum of 2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Working Hours

This HLTA job is a full-time position, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, during term time. Flexibility may be required for specific school events or meetings.
