Key Responsibilities

As a Job Service Representative, you will be at the forefront of our mission. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one support to job seekers, helping them navigate job search resources and tools.
Conducting assessments to understand candidates’ skills, interests, and experiences.
Assisting with resume writing, cover letter creation, and interview preparation.
Facilitating workshops and seminars on job search strategies and career development.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of job openings and market trends to provide relevant advice.
Building relationships with local employers to understand their hiring needs and facilitate job placements.
Tracking and reporting on job seeker progress and program outcomes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or career counseling role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to empathize with job seekers and understand their unique challenges.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with job placement software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
